California has been suffering from drought for years, but this year we have been experiencing a tons of rain.
The rain brought us this wonderful wild flowers this year :)
It was back in 2014 when we have had our first poppy viewing.
We missed the classic SoCal orange poppy and have been desparate to find more every Spring....
But nope nope, usually it just blooms for a week or so and its gone before we knew it.....
Finally, the wild flowers have gone crazy all over SoCal this year!!
We picked Walker Canyon as it is one of the few dog friendly places to view the poppy.
The traffic was bad, but it was all worth it rite?! :)
I actually don't remember the poppy we found 3 years ago in Antelope Canyon was actually orange.
Those are yellow!!!
Still, the flowers are nice whether they are yellow or orange.
Ha, this wild flowers are not poppy, they are just the most common yellow flowers you can see every where.
Our Tinker is so short that this tiny teeny 5cm flowers look HUGE!
Tinker just turned 3 this week. We would be (should be?) holding a birthday party for her this week.
Happy pre-birthday Tinker.
The place is HUGE, we manage to find spots that were crowded with people.
We are hoping to see more of the orange poppies in Antelope, which is not expected to bloom in late March-April.
(If we are not lazy, ooops)
I hope the dogs wont get too high since they ate alot of flowers!!!
